Egypt, South Korea to Pen MoU on Customs Cooperation End-April

The Egyptian Customs Authority will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with its South Korean counterpart by the end of this month to enhance customs cooperation, Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait announced in a meeting with the South Korean Ambassador to Cairo on April 11th.

The yet-to-be-signed MoU aims at facilitating trade movement between the two countries, the minister noted.

Egypt has become more attractive to foreign investments on the back of its promising opportunities and its legislative environment and tax and customs incentives, Maait said.

For his part, South Korean Ambassador to Cairo Hong Jin-Wook expressed his country’s keenness to pump more investments in the Egyptian market.
